“For the People because we’re of the People“
Founded in 2018, The M.A.D Team Corp. (Making A Difference) was created with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide a bridge to better opportunities for those in need. Recognizing the struggles faced by individuals and families in Polk County and beyond, our founder, Barcari Flournoy, established the organization to offer free support services, including educational assistance, career guidance, housing aid, and resources for single mothers.
What started as a grassroots effort has grown into a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, driven by community support, donations, and fundraising efforts. Over the years, we have helped countless individuals overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and build brighter futures. Our commitment remains strong—to uplift, empower, and truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
At The M.A.D Team Corp. (Making A Difference), our mission is to empower individuals and families by providing essential resources, education, and support to create lasting positive change. Through our free programs—including educational assistance, scholarships, career guidance, housing support, and aid for single mothers—we strive to bridge the gap between challenges and opportunities.
Serving Polk County and beyond, we are committed to uplifting our community by fostering self-sufficiency, confidence, and stability. With a focus on compassion, integrity, and impact, we believe that every person deserves a fair chance at success. By working together, we can truly Make A Difference.
Salute To Service is The M.A.D Team Corp’s dedicated initiative for the brave men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform. Through this program, we guide veterans and their families through the often-complex landscape of VA benefits to ensure they receive every entitlement earned. We pair that advocacy with wrap-around wellness support—facilitating confidential mental-health counseling, peer-to-peer awareness workshops, and crisis-response referrals. Recognizing the critical role that safe, stable housing plays in a veteran’s transition to civilian life, Salute To Service offers housing-search assistance, landlord mediation, and short-term rental or relocation aid. We further combat food insecurity by providing monthly pantry distributions, emergency grocery vouchers, and connections to community nutrition resources. Whether a veteran needs help filing a disability claim, finding a therapist, securing an apartment, or stocking the refrigerator, Salute To Service stands ready as the bridge to better opportunities—forging a path from honorable service to fulfilled, sustainable living.
This isn’t just a car show—it’s a movement. Featuring custom rides, live music, local vendors, food trucks, mental health resources, and powerful testimonies that encourage healing and hope.
Let’s break the silence, spark conversation, and support one another. Mental health matters—let’s drive the message home.
